Schools remained closed in Uganda due to the restrictions put in place by the government. As a result, indigent children who do not have access to online learning facilities have been denied access to education.
In response, our volunteers in Uganda took up the responsibility of providing education in emergency support to children in Buikwe community. They built a library in the town and also organise reading clubs daily for the children to help them continue learning in spite of the school closure.
Our global network of volunteers are impacting thousands of indigent children and families and you can be a part of the network. Visit icm.ngo/hvn today.
