Passionate Young Partners of the InnerCity Mission Take A Stand Against World Hunger

As the global community commemorated World Humanitarian Day, Partners of the InnerCity Mission in BLW Zone J took a stand to tackle hunger by organizing a mega food drive to donate food items to the InnerCity Mission Food Bank. This is in line with the commitment of the InnerCity Mission to achieve Zero Hunger [Sustainable Development Goal 2].

The Zonal Pastor of BLW Zone J, Pastor Henry Akasili, speaking to the young people encouraged them to make it a responsibility to help the needy because when they help a child they save the future. The youths were excited to meet the needs of the indigent through the food donation.

We say “THANK YOU!” to our dear Partners in BLW Zone J for taking a stand with the InnerCity Mission to distribute 32 million meals to indigent children and poor families around the world.
