It's located about 10 minutes from the airport and it's right next to the highway, so it will be easy for you to get around. They also have a free tram that takes you back and forth from Mandalay Bay to Luxor to Excalibur!
Excalibur may seem like more of a family friendly hotel, but they also offer the Thunder from Down Under and Dick's Last Resort here as well so there is fun for any age in this Castle!
The Royal Tower is on the quieter side and closest to the Ride Share exit/entrance while the Resort Tower has a bit more noise from the street and is closer to the Pool.
There's a medley of food options in the food court on the upper level so that anyone will be able to find something to eat. They had TWO Starbucks which I loved because I feel like every time I went, there was never much of a line (unless it was the weekend).
Overall, Excalibur is one of the older casinos on The Strip, so if you go into it knowing that you get what you pay for, so to speak, you will have a great time. It worked perfect for us who just wanted somewhere nice to crash and get a late night snack when we got done sightseeing.

En el marco de la celebración del 85° aniversario del Casino Central de Mar del Plata, se realizó este sábado el lanzamiento de la primera bola de la temporada y se inauguraron dos salas que permitirán sumar espectáculos teatrales y musicales durante todo el año. Estuvieron presentes el ministro de Gobierno, Carlos Bianco, y el presidente del Instituto de Lotería y Casinos, Gonzalo Atanasof.
La jornada comenzó a las 17 con propuestas musicales y artísticas que incluyeron bandas en vivo, comparsas y la presencia de la Guardia del Mar. Las autoridades encabezaron la puesta en funcionamiento de las salas Bristol y Nácar, que fueron recientemente restauradas, cuentan con vista al mar y poseen un aforo de 750 y 300 personas, respectivamente. Durante enero y febrero habrá shows con artistas reconocidos como Nahuel Penisi y Walter Rúa, y una charla con la actriz Graciela Borges.
A las 21:30, Bianco realizó el lanzamiento de la primera bola oficial de la temporada 2025: la ruleta mostró al colorado 14.
Asimismo, en una reunión con trabajadores del casino, Atanasof agradeció al ministro Bianco su apoyo a la gestión y anunció que "se está trabajando junto a la Legislatura en la aprobación del proyecto de ley para la regularización de aportes y el avance de los pliegos de licitación que garantizarán la inversión que necesitan los Casinos".
Las actividades seguirán a lo largo de toda la semana: el domingo será el turno de la primera bola en el Casino de Pinamar; el miércoles en el de Tandil; el jueves en el de Necochea y, por último, el próximo sábado en el de Tigre.
Participaron también el asesor general de Gobierno, Santiago Pérez Teruel, y las subsecretarias de Políticas Culturales, Victoria Onetto; y de Turismo, Soledad Martínez.
