In this commentary track I try my darnedest to defend and explain at least some of the madcap insanity that is the infamous 1967 spoof film produced by Charles K. Feldman. Even as a diehard Bond fanatic and dyed in the wool Terence Young style type of person-I adore this whimsical, unfocused, disjointed,problematic, bombastic, witty overload of talent. It is in my opinion somehow a masterpiece.The film is absolutely unlike anything else. A perfect time capsule of its era and a relic of many things from bygone era. If you can manage to get on its wavelength after several viewings I think eventually its charms win you over.
