What are my final thoughts? They are two totally different guitars! I guess there really was no reason for me to get another casino, but they do sound quite different and feel different to play. I will say that the quality of the newer casino is GREAT. It really needs no improvement. I did feel that acoustically it was louder and had more bottom end. To me this must have something to do with the newer casino being slightly larger in body but not any thicker than my late 90's casino. The frets felt great and the tuners feel really smooth but not too loose at all. I LOVE that it comes with a padded gig bag! It really is a great guitar that fortunately did not suffer too much of a price increase like most other brands. The pickups on my older casino sure does sound GREAT as well. It has some kind of mojo going on with it, I wonder if it is strictly the pickups or maybe something more? Maybe it is starting to sound sweeter as it ages!

I'm spending Thanksgiving in Vegas this year. Staying at the Linq Hotel. The room is pretty clean. I like it. However I noticed my throat was a bit scratchy and I suspect my allergies to dust was the cause. So I decided to check the room out more thoroughly and discovered that the vent/air duct in the bathroom was filthy and needs a good cleaning. Breathing in this mess is not healthy. Looks like the maid just does surface cleaning but she needs to catch the vent as well. I'm pretty sure this is not the only room where the vent is nasty. I'm just saying, I got issues.
