WELCOME TO THE YEAR OF REDEMPTION!!!

The Innercity Mission School’s 9th Graduation Ceremony!

The Innercity Mission School was filled with jubilation as the day of the basic six graduation ceremony arrived. The young graduates, donning vibrant Ankara graduation gowns, could barely contain their enthusiasm. For them, it was a day they had eagerly awaited, a culmination of hard work, determination, and perseverance.

In the weeks leading up to this momentous day, the pupils had poured their hearts into their studies, embracing every lesson and challenge with a thirst for knowledge. They had practiced praises and sang heartily to the Lord in thanksgiving. The ceremony saw proud parents, teachers, and well-wishers celebrating these young achievers. The HOS took to the stage, commending the pupils for their hard work and emphasizing the importance of never giving up on their dreams.

Graduates received certificates, beaming with pride, and a sense of accomplishment knowing that they had made their sponsors proud. The ceremony honors remarkable pupils like Mmesoma as the Best Graduation Pupil, who was an indigent child in 2019 and is now a confident and passionate young girl.

Amidst the applause, Warriz’s touching story captivated everyone’s hearts. An illiterate young boy, he joined the InnerCity Mission School in 2014. He couldn’t read or write in English and had never set foot in a classroom before joining the InnerCity Mission School. He underwent a transformative educational journey, culminating in his graduation with the 2022/2023 cohort.

As the day concluded, a celebratory feast brought families together, sharing aspirations for the future. Gratitude goes out to our esteemed partners, donors, and sponsors of the Innercity Mission School. The joy and excitement among these formerly financially burdened, indigent children have taken a remarkable turn, all thanks to your compassionate response to their pleas. You are the real MVPs!
