At the InnerCity Mission, we are passionately committed to transforming the lives of indigent children, families, and their communities. We carry out social interventions reaching different target groups in underserved communities.

North-East Nigeria is one of such locations where we have deployed our intervention programs. For the past 10 years, this part of Nigeria has been plagued by crisis but with your support, we have empowered children, women, and household heads through different initiatives. ICM Germany Responds to Flood Victims

Several weeks ago, heavy rains hit Western Germany causing a catastrophic flood which led to loss of lives and properties in the region. Our InnerCity Mission Partners in Germany reached 100 families affected by the floods in Bonn and environs with humanitarian relief materials such as food, clothes, shoes, bags, toys, etc. These items would provide some comfort for the families at this time.

His Excellency, Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, an outstanding Partner of the InnerCity Mission, supported over 500 families with food items and over 400 children with scholastic kits. This distribution, which was done under the Family Strengthening & Livelihood Program and Back-to-School Campaign, took place in Obotebe Bilazigha community, South-South Nigeria.

The children received learning materials such as notebooks, stationery, school uniforms, and other learning resources, while, the families received food supplies which included grains, tubers, protein and more. The whole community was agog with excitement for the magnitude of support they received.
