Mobile Learning Center Helps Indigent Children in Burundi

Setting up learning centers is part of our commitment to reach children in underserved communities with education.

Volunteers of the InnerCity Mission for Children in Burundi secured safe spaces for children in Bujumbura town, Burundi. Through their humanitarian efforts, a mobile learning center was set up to keep the community children engaged after school. Activities include art and craft, games and storybook club and more.

Our partners believe in the future of indigent children and are consistently taking actions to reach and meet their needs.

Across our network of schools, two meals are served daily during school days to keep the pupils energized and focused while learning. A committed and passionate Partner, Pastor Georgina Abbah, donated food items to the Food kitchen in our InnerCity Mission School, Yola Center which would be used to prepare daily meals when school resumes.
