Partners Taking Action Against Hunger

The statistics of hunger can be overwhelming without a hope for solution. Our partners are taking decisive actions to share food with poor families on the InnerCity Mission Virtual Food Drive Platform.

In a colourful and inspiring ceremony at Antoinette Tubman Liberia, 756 women graduated from the Family Strengthening & Livelihood Program of the InnerCity Mission after completing vocational courses and acquiring skills in tailoring, beauty care, soapmaking, catering, and interior decoration. The women were given tools to start up businesses with skills they acquired during the Program.

Present at this event was Her Excellency, Madame Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, former President of Liberia, and the Honourable Minister of Gender & Child Protection, Mrs Wlliameta Tarr. Read more
