Dear Partner,

It has been an inspiring journey this month, striving together with you to create a world free of poverty, where every child has equal opportunities to thrive and fulfill their God-given potentials, transforming lives and communities, one at a time.

Impact Video: True Transformation for Miracle

8-year-old Miracle grew up experiencing severe abuse from her relative, who was her care-giver. She was physically and verbally abused and forced to perform labour beyond her age. Miracle was traumatized and, as a result of the abuse, she stopped speaking.

Concerned neighbours reported her case to the authorities and she was handed over to a Juvenile Welfare Centre. From there, she was brought into the InnerCity Mission Home. In less than 4 months, Miracle transformed into a bright and bubbly girl, speaking and playing with other children. Indeed, it's a miracle! Watch video here.

Commemorating Int'l Day of Families Around the World!

In commemoration of the International Day of Families on the 15th of May 2021, the InnerCity Mission launched the "Strengthen a Family" initiative across our Mission Hubs in several countries. The focus of this initiative was to identify poor families in different communities with the aim of delivering sustainable solutions such as food security and skill acquisition. This is a part of our Family Strengthening & Livelihood program which is helping thousands of families build their livelihoods.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police in Bangalore, Pune expressed his appreciation towards the InnerCity Mission for the work done in supporting low-income families in the community. Through the initiative, we reached hundreds of families in India, USA, and Lesotho.

Did you know that through our Shelter Program , we provide a stable family environment and total life care for indigent and vulnerable children? This encourages the healthy, physical, social, and economic development of the children in our direct care all the way through young adulthood.

Few weeks back, the first set of young adults who benefited from our Shelter Program recently graduated from University with good grades while a second set of beneficiaries have secured admission into tertiary institution on full scholarship.

"The Blessedness of Volunteering"

God will make happen for you what you make happen for others. Volunteering with the InnerCity Mission gives you a unique opportunity to give the lives of indigent children a meaning.
