Groundbreaking Ceremony Holds for 9th Tuition-Free InnerCity Mission School

Amidst jubilation, we had yet another groundbreaking ceremony to commence the construction of the 10th InnerCity Mission School located in Iguobazuwa community, Edo State South-South Nigeria. The construction of this school is under the auspices of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International in collaboration with our institutional Partners in CE Mid-West Zone.

The groundbreaking ceremony had top dignitaries present and featured speeches from special guests, handing over of land documents, engagement with community leaders and laying of the cornerstone.

Our Partners in Kimberley, South Africa are at it again, giving indigent children hope and love. They visited Peculiar Daycare at Planfontein and provided them with groceries and cooking gas. The Partners committed to catering for their needs monthly.

Through the Shelter Program of the InnerCity Mission, our Partners identify orphanages and other childcare institutions in need and provide them with regular support. Did you know that the InnerCity Mission has a special outreach program to reach those the society calls 'misfits'? The GO2INC Street is a specialised outreach to young boys and girls on the streets, often homeless and uncared for in some countries.

Through this outreach, we meet their needs through customised interventions such as vocational scholarships to equip them with necessary skills and funds to start up businesses.

You can organise football competitions, makeovers, and free markets as a strategic way of reaching these street boys and girls.
