Además de este importante cambio que convirtió al "Casino" en el primer conjunto sonero en incorporar cuatro trompetas, volvía a recurrir a los formidables arreglos del Niño Rivera, pero esta vez dándole mayor responsabilidad en el apartado técnico musical teniendo en cuenta este nuevo formato. Abordando nuevamente esta guaracha de Román como crónica social, "Pepe el chivo" nos trae el recuerdo de Juan Galleta un famoso y temido "usurero" o "prestamista", labor popularmente conocida en Cuba como "garrotero", un oficio que a juzgar por su sobrenombre el hombre ejercía utilizando métodos nada diplomáticos. Roberto Faz y Roberto Espí en un momento del tema, además de mencionarlo, sostienen un breve diálogo con el objetivo de darle promoción a "La fonda de María la Gallega" uno de los sitios donde solían recalar los músicos del conjunto por ese tiempo. Completaba la trilogía vocal Rolito Rodríguez quien ya también destacaba como notable bolerista de exquisita interpretación y afinación perfecta.
