*More detailed info in the description* I wanted to show the differences tonally between both of these guitars as far as clean tone and overdriven tone goes. I could never find a good comparison between these two guitars on YouTube as most people seem to compare the casino with the gibson counterpart but I was more interested in both Epiphones as they are in a similar price range. So hopefully this video can assist anybody in making a decision between these two! *Additional differences* - The Casino is a fully hollow body guitar with p90's for both neck and bridge pickup. This guitar is a 1997 Made in Korea from the Peerless factory model. These days, modern Made in China Epiphone Casino's are not too different from the MIK models in tones and in construction. - The ES-335 is the newer Inspired by Gibson model. It is a semi-hollow body guitar unlike the Casino meaning that it has a beam of wood going through the middle of the guitar. This does add some weight but counters the feedback problems that are very common in hollow body guitars. This guitar also has humbucker pickups instead of p90's. *Personal thoughts* - I find that I prefer the ES-335 for clean tones and the Casino for overdriven tones. I find that the Casino has some type of edginess to it that is really nice when overdriven. The overdriven tones for the ES-335 are NOT bad!
