En los años 50´s en lo alto de una montaña se podía vislumbrar un gran y luminoso Casino al que toda la gente de altos recursos acudía, sin embargo, una noche todo desapareció a causa de un incendio provocado por el mismísimo diablo.
Esta leyenda acontecida en la Ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora, allá por los años 50´s, cuenta de una bella joven de nombre Linda, quien en la noche de Año Nuevo y sin permiso de sus padres acudió a la gran fiesta que el Casino más importante de la ciudad brindaba a toda la alta sociedad de aquél pequeño poblado.
Las mejores familias acudirían a despedir el año y los jóvenes de mayor alcurnia estarían ahí presentes.
Después de una discusión con sus padres por no dejarla acudir al festejo, Linda de solo 16 años decidió escapar por la ventana. Luciendo su mejor vestido ingresó al lugar en donde todos quedaron asombrados por su gran belleza.
Muchos adolescentes la invitaron a bailar pero ella los rechazó, hasta que uno muy guapo se le acercó y ella de inmediato al quedar impresionada con su galanura aceptó.
El tiempo transcurrió y de pronto Linda sintió como la mano de aquel hombre que tocaba su espalda le quemaba, sintiendo un calor infernal dio un paso atrás para de pronto ver que los pies de quién la conquistara fueran uno de gallo y el otro de chivo.
El grito aterrador que lanzó la chica llamó la atención de todos, por lo que el hombre corrió a esconderse al baño en donde minutos después un fuerte olor a azufre desencadenó en una gran explosión que terminó por incendiar todo el casino.
Los rumores corrieron rápidamente, pues la gente decía que quien había bailado esa noche con Linda era el diablo e inclusive muchos comentaban que se la había llevado con él.
Actualmente el lugar es utilizado para realizar rituales de brujería, esto debido a toda la carga negativa que en el quedó, la gente evita visitarlo por la noche y es que aseguran que de día el lugar solo luce desolado, mientras que al ocultarse el sol, desde lo lejos, un tono anaranjado ilumina las ruinas pareciendo como si nuevamente el incendio se reavivara.

The hotel at Circus Circus Las Vegas has a reputation for being affordable yet beat up/run down. I decided to check out the north Strip property myself to either confirm or dispel those rumors.
Rooms at Circus Circus start at an affordable $25 before fees and tax, and mine cost $62 all in. I reserved a 2 queen room in the resort's West Tower, which received some recent renovation work. The room had 364 sq. ft. of space and was pretty bare bones from an amenity perspective, the but the basis like a TV, Bed, workdesk, and an ancient clock radio were all there.
Aside from the hotel, I explore the resort experience at Circus Circus, including the casino and kid-friendly attractions like the midway & arcade, and Adventuredome amusement park.
While Circus Circus is hardly luxurious, it could be a solid home base for those looking to do Vegas cheap with kids, who are sure to enjoy the stay.
