I was working on this song in the studio in Spain when i received the news that a good friend of mine and many others Sue Telfer had passed away, at the time this song did not have a title, and as i sat there reading the messages from friends back in Australia and messages from so many others in relation to Sue´s passing i felt so near yet so far away, hence this song got the title in Spanish ¨cerca pero tan lejos¨ (near but so far). Sometime later i was looking thru photos and videos on my telephone and i came across this video i had made when myself, Julian Marco and Isidro Rubio were travelling home after playing a weeks worth of concerts in France. We were travelling thru the Pyrenees when i shot this little video, the minute i re discovered it i though these images might work well to accompany the song ¨cerca pero tan lejos¨.
