So, after a few long hours of working on this, I managed to expand the partner slots with the modding API. We can add infinite (yes, infinite, not 65535!) partner slots with almost no work.
I assigned random partners to Minato, Hashirama, Zabuza, Danzo, Asuma and Deidara, and then made a team match with all of them fighting. Since each character has a partner... I have 12 characters on the same match x'D
The next API update will include a function to add partner slots.
