EXCALIBUR HOTEL AND CASINO IS A CASINO HOTEL ON THE LAS VEGAS STRIP AND IT OPENED ON JUNE 19, 1990.
EXCALIBUR, NAMED FOR THE MYTHICAL SWORD OF KING ARTHUR, USES THE MEDIEVAL THEME IN SEVERAL WAYS. ITS FACADE IS A STYLIZED IMAGE OF A CASTLE AND IT OFFERS A MEDIEVAL LOOK ON THE INTERIOR AS WELL.
AS WE STROLLED THROUGH EXCALIBUR, WE WERE SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTED FOR WE HAVE STAYED HERE SINCE IT OPENED AND NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED IN 30 YEARS. THE CARPET IS ALL WORN OUT AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS PRETTY BLEAK. THE OUTSIDE IS SO BEAUTIFUL, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.
THERE ARE A LOT OF NICE SHOWS HERE THAT THEY OFFER AND WE REALLY ENJOYED DICK'S LAST RESORT.
THE ONE THING IT DOES OFFER IS A GREAT LOCATION TO OTHER HOTELS. ON THE CORNER OF TROPICANA AND LAS VEGAS BLVD. YOU CAN TAKE THE BRIDGE TO THE NEW YORK NEW YORK, TROPICANA, AND MGM GRAND, AS WELL AS IT FEATURES A FREE TRAM TO THE LUXOR AND MANDALAY BAY.

Manx Slot Car Club - Italian Cars (Proxy) - 7th August 2025 - part 1

Firstly I'll explain what we're doing here.
.
We all entered an Italian car into this event but I suggested we try something brand new that we hadn't tried before, it would give the evening a Proxy event feel.
.
Instead of drivers being put into the lap timing program, the cars were listed.
.
The first three drivers drove their own car in the first heat, as the cars and drivers cycled through the listings, all six cars were driven once by all six drivers. We all drove our own car once (which turned out to be Yellow or Blue lanes).
.
For heat #2, the cars moved over one lane to the right with a new car on Red lane, whilst the drivers moved in the other direction, over one lane to the left with a new driver on Blue lane.
.
In the part 2 video, the cars cycled through the same sequence as in this video but the drivers were moved on three places. This meant no car was driven twice by the same person.
