Today we're taking another walk through the pyramid shaped Luxor casino in Las Vegas, starting from the Sphinx entrance near Las Vegas Blvd and heading through the entire property, including the casino floor, second floor exhibits, and even out to the pool area.
Coming from the tram area, we pass through the porte-cochère where guests arriving by car are dropped off, then we head inside the actual pyramid through the main entrance. One of the first things we notice is that the indoor water feature near the front lobby area has been removed and replaced with plastic, desert-themed landscaping. Taking a look at that, we then pass the long hotel check-in line and remark about low ceilings in some areas, which give off a dated vibe.
We continue up a non-functioning moving walkway and eventually reach the Luxor's slot tournament area and see a long line for the Pyramid Cafe. On the second floor is the Luxor food court, where we see that a chicken sandwich costs $18.99.
Also on the second floor, we pass showrooms and exhibits like the Blue Man Group theater and the Titanic & Bodies exhibitions. A new "coming soon" addition is the Duck Duck Boom experience, where adults will likely get knocked down by rotating arms in the middle of an inflatable ring.
Looping through the gaming floor as we head back down to the main level, we take a look at different roulette tables, one featuring two zeros and the other featuring three (with the third zero disguised as the Luxor logo). After that, we pass the Tender steakhouse where the tasting menu is currently listed at $59.
Finally, we head outside toward the Luxor Oasis Pool, where we get a glimpse of the swimming pools that are available to hotel guests on hot summer days.

Mnoticias/ Monterrey, NL.- Tras el descontento que generado el resultado de los peritajes al Casino Royale; el Gobernador Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz aseguró que en este caso no hay encubrimientos ni protección para nadie que pudiera resultar responsable.
El Mandatario Estatal señaló que si bien las víctimas de la tragedia y la población en general no están contentas con el dictamen, es un hecho que los resultados tienen una dureza técnica y jurídica, por lo que se tendrán que acatar como corresponde.
De tal manera, que no se fincará responsabilidad penal sobre ninguna autoridades de protección civil, ni se tomará en cuenta realizar una segunda investigación al respecto.
"En el Gobierno del Estado no vamos a fabricar expedientes, ni vamos a señalar culpables cuando el resultado de los expertos no es así.
"No hay encubrimiento, no hay protección para nadie...se ha tenido mucho cuidado, se ha actuado con profesionalismo, no hay encubrimiento, no hay favoritismo, no hay fabricación de expedientes de ninguna naturaleza", aseveró.
El Jefe del Ejecutivo recordó que él mismo se comprometió con los deudos y la población en general a que los resultados se presentarían tal cuál son; siendo este el caso.
Resaltó que la información dada a conocer esta apoyada en la investigación de peritos expertos, abogados y el ministerio público, todos apegados a la Ley; por lo que no se puden cambiar ni desviar los resultados.
"El resultado de este peritaje es técnico jurídico, se llevó a cabo con todo rigor por parte de la PGR en coadyuvanza con la Procuraduría del Estado...se tomó todo el tiempo necesario", insistió
Por otro lado, reiteró que los únicos culpables fueron los criminales que participaron en los hechos, mismos que han sido detenidos con anterioridad.
Mientras que la administración estatal también impulso una serie de iniciativas para regular los centros de apuestas
