I am back on the Las Vegas Strip for another resort review and this time we are staying at Part MGM Resort in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. I had low expectations after our gross stay at MGM Grand last summer and hoped this hotel would redeem MGM as a property owner.
I love doing these resort reviews to help you make better decisions where to spend your hard-earned money. While I'm not a fan of the red room coloring in this hotel (or any hotel, tbh) I think that's a nitpicking preference versus a "con." I'm going to see if I can request a green room next time we visit.
We absolutely loved dining at Best Friend by Roy Choi, as well as roaming and dining around all the venues in Eataly. Park MGM's casino floor is bright and modern, giving an upscale vibe without being stuffy. Speaking of stuffy, the non-smoking atmosphere was a welcomed literal breath of fresh air from the typical casinos who allow smoking. That said, I feel most casinos on the Las Vegas strip and downtown are doing a very good job at filtering systems that cut down on lingering smoke inside their resorts,

Personally, I felt MGM Grand was overpriced and too big for it's britches, underdelivering on both service and cleanliness for the price. If I had a choice, I'd skip MGM Grand and stay at Park MGM any day!
