I have been wanting another controller so that I would have 4 controllers on the track at all times, so that when we race everyone can join in.
Great Traditions had the newer DS PHN-1 Controller which has seen some hype as of late in the slot car community among the fast guys at the local tracks. So I ordered the controller so I could see for myself if this is the magic bullet everyone is looking for to go fast.

The controller showed up on Tuesday right before the livestream, so we talked about it a little bit, but I have had some time to go deeper.
I share the features of the controller, my thoughts on how it performs, compare it to my Difalco DD302 and answer the question, is it the magic bullet?
I would really like to get my hands on the Truspeed MT2 and APEX to see how they compare to my other controllers.
I will do a follow up in a few weeks to see how things are progressing with the controller.

The city of Bozeman is now home to a new gas station and convenience store, but this one looks a little different.
The newly opened Town Pump on Huffine Lane is the largest in the state, boasting a casino, bar and lounge, and Stone House Deli and Coffee Shots.
The location is open 24 hours a day, a rarity in Bozeman, and between its snack selection and seating areas, a spokesperson for Town Pump said it may be an appealing late-night study location.
"It'd be a great place to grab something to eat and do some schoolwork,” said Bill McGladdery, director of corporate communications for Town Pump. “I think the lounge, as part of the Magic Diamond, it's a great spot for people to meet before they go to a Bobcat game."
