El primer paso,puede parecer muy evidente pero es a la vez uno de los pasos más importantes y complicados.Este primer paso es ACEPTAR QUE TIENES UN PROBLEMA DE LUDOPATÍA.
El aceptar uno mismo que es ludópata cuesta y cuesta mucho.Yo cuando jugaba a las máquinas tragaperras en los bares,pensaba que lo hacía porque me gustaba y realmente así empezamos todos a jugar,porque nos gusta o nos entretiene,pero una vez que hemos desarrollado la adicción,pueden pasar años hasta que te des cuenta de que realmente tienes un problema.
Yo mismo tardé años en darme cuenta de mi adicción,pero ese día llegó.Aunque alguna que otra vez llegué a pensar que tal vez yo podía ser ludópata,no fue hasta el día que te voy a contar que acepté que soy ludópata y no te extrañes que lo siga diciendo en presente aunque a día de hoy hace casi tres años que no he vuelto a apostar,pero como no me voy a cansar de repetir,aunque la verdad es que me da un poco por culo esta afirmación,los ludópatas lo vamos a ser toda la vida,aunque no apostemos,porque solo nos va a hacer falta una nueva primera apuesta para volver a activar la adicción.
Como ya sabes,llevo muchos años trabajando para mí mismo,hago reparaciones tanto de agua,como luz,gas,calefacciones…bueno,soy lo que aquí se llama lampista.
Cuando haces reparaciones a domicilio,sueles cobrar en efectivo y ya sabes que para un adicto al juego,el efectivo es un mal compañero.
Pues aquel día,estamos hablando más o menos del años 2015,después de comer tenía que hacer una reparación y como había llegado temprano para no tener que conducir después de comer,me senté a comer en el bar que había cerca de donde yo tenía que ir a hacer la reparación.
Por la mañana ya había ganado no recuerdo bien,pero entre 120 y 150 euros.
Comí un menú en la terraza de este bar y a la hora de tomar el café entré y vi que habían dos máquinas tragaperras,que el día que he ido a grabar esto,siguen estando aquí,aunque parece que las han modernizado.
Pagué el menú y el café y me fuí directo a una de las tragaperras.Llevaba entre 110 y 140 euros después de haber pagado y ya sabes donde acabaron¿verdad?
Si,acabaron dentro de la máquina tragaperras y yo bastante enfadado conmigo mismo me fumé un cigarro antes de ir a una escuela de baile que había en esta calle,ahí mismo,a hacer mi reparación.Serían más o menos las tres de la tarde y dejé a un lado el enfado que tenía por haber perdido ese dinero en la tragaperras del bar y me centré en hacer mi trabajo,hacerlo bien y cobrarlo.Cobrarlo,eso es lo que pensaba mi cerebro sin que yo me diera cuenta…
Y eso hice,acabé el trabajo y lo cobré,ya volvía a tener dinero en efectivo,mal compañero del ludópata hemos dicho antes¿verdad?

En un rato había vuelto a quedarme sin dinero…
Esa tarde lloré,lloré mucho antes de poderme ir de allí,estaba destrozado anímicamente y acabé entender y aceptar que soy ludópata,que sufro una enfermedad que se llama juego patológico y que se me había escapado de las manos.
Desde ese momento,acepté que tenía un problema aunque aún me faltaba mucho camino por recorrer hasta empezar con mi recuperación.
