Here's how to assemble and operate the SpongeBob Squarepants Slot Car Race Set.
There are many layouts to choose from. This is the famous bridge layout!
Secure track pieces tightly and ensure they are flush. If there are any gaps, the cars won’t work. Connect all pieces to close the circuit.
Use one short and one tall column per bridge support.
The column-less supports help with the slopes.
Add guard rails around the turns, and on top of the bridge.
Add stickers to and assemble the gantry sign.
Feel free to add the rest of the stickers to the track but make sure you do not cover any metal!
Unscrew the battery compartment at the bottom of the controllers. Insert two batteries per controller. Make sure polarity is correct. Screw the covers back on completely.
IMPORTANT! The brushes on the bottom of the vehicles MUST be extended and straight. They absolutely must contact the metal on the track.
The direction of the cars is dependent on the orientation of the plugs. Switch orientation to switch directions.
Pull trigger to race! If you fly off of the track that means you are going too fast! Let off of the acceleration during the corners. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us at customerservice at NKOK dot com.
