My first time in Macau! What a place! 🇲🇴 In this Macau travel vlog we will explore the most popular things to do and see.
Macau is also known as the Las Vegas of Asia, because you can find incredible hotels and casinos such as MGM, Wynn hotels, The Venetian, The Londoner, The Parisian, Grand Lisboa casino and so many more.
But Macau offers way more than just casinos and hotels. There is history, culture and a very fascinating colonial old town.
We will check out the most popular things to do in Macau:
The ferry from Hong Kong to Macau, the Historical side of Macau: The Ruins of Saint Paul's (Walls of St Paul Church), Monte fort, Senado Square.
Then we will move to some hotels and casino on Macau Island: Wynn hotel, MGM and Treasure Island. And then at night time we cross the bridge and explore the famous Cotai Strip.
At The Cotai Strip you really feel like you are in Las Vegas. We will visit The Venetian, The Londoner, The Parisian, Galaxy hotel, MGM Cotai, Wynn Palace and some more hotels..
The day after we will check out the Giant Panda Pavilion and the beach in Macau

El Cabildo de Monterrey aprobó por unanimidad el plan de reforestación y protección de la fauna de la Alameda Mariano Escobedo.
Desde 2012 existe un programa municipal para la Protección y Manejo del Arbolado en dicho parque, pero la sequía de los dos últimos años afectó a los árboles en la zona.
“La intención de esto es dar pie a un gran plan de reforestación de toda esta gran plaza. La recibimos en un franco deterioro y estamos haciendo acciones no solo de reforestación, sino también de reconstrucción para darle vida a la plaza Alameda, que sea un gran parque para la ciudad de Monterrey como su vocación lo manda y su tradición lo merece”, explicó el Presidente Municipal, Luis Donaldo Colosio.
La intervención incluye la reforestación con árboles de la región, la mejora del suelo y la preservación de la fauna, principalmente aves, para recobrar la zona como punto de paseo y reunión familiar, en el marco del programa “Revive el Centro”.
La Secretaría de Desarrollo Urbano Sostenible autorizó el derribo de 46 árboles secos, enfermos o que representan un riesgo debido a su longevidad, y contempla la arborización total para reverdecer el espacio.
La Alameda Mariano Escobedo nació en el siglo antepasado; a la fecha cuenta con 162 años de existencia.
TENDRÁN MEMORIAL FALLECIDOS EN CASINO ROYAL
En sesión ordinaria del Cabildo, el Ayuntamiento aprobó construir un memorial por las 52 personas fallecidas en el Casino Royale, en 2011, en conjunto con los deudos del peor atentado sufrido en la ciudad
El un monumento reconocerá la dignidad de los inocentes afectados en el ataque para garantizar la verdad, la justicia, reparación del daño y no repetición de los hechos.
Los detalles del memorial serán consensuados con los familiares de las víctimas, explica el dictamen.
El Alcalde mencionó la importancia de esta acción.
“Esta ciudad y este estado tenemos todavía una deuda pendiente con las familias de las personas que perdieron la vida en ese terrible atentado”, dijo Colosio.
“Habrá muchas cosas que no son nuestra culpa, pero sí son nuestra responsabilidad y es nuestra responsabilidad responder al llamado de justicia, sobre todo de honra que se le debe de guardar a estas personas, familias, en nombre de la ciudad a la memoria de que no vuelva a ocurrir jamás”.
Para honrarlos, los deudos colocaron cruces blancas, una por cada fallecido, en lo que era la entrada al desaparecido casino, sin embargo, de manera arbitraria fueron retiradas.
Aunque el municipio apoyó en su reinstalación, no cuenta con reconocimiento oficial como monumento y, por tanto, carece de protección jurídica y física.
Al autorizar la construcción del memorial, se garantiza su conservación.
BRINDARÁN MÁXIMO HONOR A AGUSTÍN BASAVE FERNÁNDEZ
En la reunión, se turnó a las comisiones correspondientes una propuesta aprobada en la Comisión de Educación y Cultura, para marcar el nombre de Agustín Basave Fernández del Valle en la geografía urbana de Monterrey, en atención a sus méritos intelectuales, a su catedra, conferencias, condecoraciones internacionales, y sus libros.
RECONOCIMIENTO A BEISBOLISTAS
Por tercera sesión consecutiva, el Ayuntamiento de Monterrey reconoció a deportistas.
Esta vez se trató de los jóvenes adolescentes (13 años) que ganaron el campeonato correspondiente a su edad, de la serie mundial de béisbol celebrado el mes pasado en la ciudad de Modesto, California.
