This hike is located 15-20 minutes north of Kanab on Highway 89. From where I parked my car and hiked it the trail was about 5 miles. However if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle you could drive up to the point where you have to hike into the slot canyon, making this hike an easy 3 miles. Climbing down into and back out of the slot canyon is the most difficult part, the rest of the trail is relatively easy. During this hike you can experience up to 380 feet of elevation gain, or more if you explore further. This hike is very sandy but absolutely beautiful!
