In the heart of Malawi, something extraordinary has taken place. A once remote and isolated village—previously cut off from access to education, economic opportunities and other basic amenities, has been given a new lease on life
That changed when the InnerCity Mission stepped in.
With vision, compassion, and determination, our team cleared a path where there was none, carving out a road that now links the village directly to the main highway—and to a brighter future.
To mark the launch of the 14th 100% free InnerCity Mission School located in Malawi, this newly constructed access road was officially commissioned and unveiled during the school’s grand commissioning ceremony…and it carries a name full of meaning.
Chris Oyakhilome Drive — named in honor of our beloved Founder, with full approval from the relevant authorities in Malawi.
Today, The Chris Oyakhilome Drive stands as a symbol of what’s possible when love leads the way—transforming lives, connecting isolated communities, and creating access to education and opportunity for the most vulnerable.
