In the month of August, InnerCity Mission Partners in UK Virtual Zone 1 came together to organize a novel Fun Day & 5K Race to raise awareness in the United Kingdom of the InnerCity Mission’s work and also to raise funds for the great work being done for vulnerable children in the Republic of Chad.

Although there were various activities that took place on the day, including a cooking competition, an obstacle course, penalty shoot-outs and more, the highlight of the day was the 5K Race. Participating in the race were several passionate ICM partners, including Pastors and leaders across the virtual zone as well as the Virtual Zonal Pastor, Pastor Chuka Ibeachum.

The ICM Fun Day marks the beginning of the fundraising campaign by the partners in the zone, which will run for several weeks, culminating in the much-anticipated skydive by the esteemed Virtual Zonal Pastor, Pastor Chuka, in September.
