We had a most successful 2nd graduation ceremony at the InnerCity Mission School, in Yola, Adamawa State where we graduated 24 pupils from Basic 5, 6, and Nursery classes. Special dignitaries in the person of Mr. Paul Codja-Oke, the coordinator, InnerCity Mission School (Yola campus), Mr. Emma Abbah the chairman of the event, Parents, Partners, and Teachers were present to celebrate the academic milestones of the graduates as they begin a new phase in their academic journey.
The ceremony kicked off with the procession of the graduating pupils into the hall to the welcome address by the Chairman and special presentations by the pupils while the parents, teachers, and schoolmates cheered. The highlight of the event was the presentation of commendation awards to the graduating pupils in various categories like best in English, Mathematics, Creative art, handwriting, Science, and Overall best in their classes.
Moreover, it is important to note that many of these children who graduated were out of school for a long time due to the insurgency in Adamawa state that left their schools destroyed.
We say a big thank you to our dear Partners, for their steadfast support that has given hope and colored the dreams of our pupils. With your partnership, we have built in them a boundless academic and spiritual foundation; a foundation for a great future!
