What is in the Kitchen for Easter?

testing

It’s Easter season and you’re probably wondering how best to enjoy the whole celebration, what to eat and drink with family and loved ones. Well, you don’t need to worry anymore. Let me share with you a few easy-to-prepare home meals you can enjoy with your loved ones this Easter; these meals will leave you and your loved ones craving for more.

  1. Jollof rice: This meal is a favorite Nigerian meal recipe. Jollof rice is not peculiar to Nigerians alone. I prefer my Jollof a little bit spicy. The wholesomeness of it brings people together. It’s mostly served during special occasions and social events, one of such is Easter. It’s often served with chicken but can be enjoyed with vegetables, salads, and above all my favorite fried or roasted fish.
  2. Coconut rice: You know, how you take a bite from food and probably expect a particular taste, but boom! you get something else, of course, something better and delicious. The sweet taste of rice mixed with coconut is very exciting and that’s why I recommend you have to try it.

Your Easter is not complete without a taste of the delicious African salad. Made with rich ingredients like cassava, pepper, and palm oil, this meal you can’t afford to miss out on. So, you can start making plans, go shopping, just so you have a great time and of course, a great meal this Easter.

As amazing as it is, have you ever thought for a second that an indigent family somewhere in an underserved community might not be able to enjoy this season, because of hunger? World hunger is on the rise and there is something we can urgently do. Through the #HungerActionMonth Campaign, you can be part of the ongoing Global Food Distribution as a volunteer and sponsor food parcels for needy families and children. They are also the reason for this season. Be their HOPE and CLICK HERE https://icm.ngo/ham-givenow
