In a bid to tackle world hunger, the InnerCity Mission through her robust Feeding Program is doing her best to make sure indigent children and their families are well fed and nourished through Soup Kitchens.
Working with our volunteers and partners in various countries, our Soup Kitchens which are onsite hot meal stations in strategic locations, prepare free nutritious meals for children and adults in need and we are excited to announce that we have a new addition to our network of soup kitchens situated in Old Naledi community, Botswana!
Old Naledi community is one of the poorest communes found in the Southern District of Botswana with a population estimated to be approximately 10,000. Most of the population there are faced with a consequence of low-income housing.
With the hike in food prices around the world mostly affecting the indigent in underserved communities like Old Naledi community, it is of utmost importance that quick action is taken which is what we witnessed when our dear partners pioneered the soup kitchen.
This soup kitchen benefits over 60 children and will continue to serve free hot meals to them daily.
It is significance to note that healthy communities derive from healthy people so take a stand with us against hunger by sponsoring meals and food parcels for needy families and children in dire need today! Click here – https://theinnercitymission.ngo/donate
