WELCOME TO THE YEAR OF REDEMPTION!!!

HURRAY! IT’S RESUMPTION WEEK

Hurray!!! It’s resumption week. With the start of the new school year, it is essential to ensure that indigent children return to school and have access to quality education. Here are some ways you can support their education.

Donate School Supplies: Many children from low-income families cannot afford basic school supplies like textbooks, notebooks, pencils, and pens. Donating these supplies can go a long way in supporting their education. You can contact your local schools, and community/education centers, or donate directly to provide school supplies. To donate. please visit theinercitymission.ngo/donate.

Volunteer as a Tutor/Mentor: If you have time, consider volunteering as a tutor in a local school in your community. Many indigent children struggle academically due to a lack of assistance and may need extra help to keep up with their peers. By volunteering as a tutor, you can provide personalized support and help these children achieve their academic goals. To volunteer click here.

Adopt a Child: Adopting a child is an excellent way to support their education. You can work with local organizations to identify children in need and provide financial support for their school fees, transportation, and other expenses. Your support can significantly impact their education and help them stay in school. Write us a mail info@theinnercitymission.ngo if you wish to adopt a child/children.

Support Community Initiatives: Many communities have initiatives to support indigent children’s education. These initiatives may include after-school programs, mentorship programs, and scholarship programs. By supporting these initiatives, you can help ensure that pupils from low-income families have access to quality education. To carry out any of our ongoing initiatives, write us a mail info@theinnercitymission.ngo.

In conclusion, returning to school can be a daunting task for indigent children. As individuals, we can take steps to support their education and ensure they have access to the resources they need to succeed. By donating school supplies, volunteering as a tutor, Adopting a Child, and supporting community initiatives, we can make a significant impact on these pupils’ lives.
