INNERCITY MISSION EDUCATION IN EMERGENCY

INTRODUCING THE INNERCITY MISSION EDUCATION IN EMERGENCY Right now, statistics show that 85% of scholars around the world are learning from home, but this is not the case of many children in inner cities who do not have access to any form of technology or internet. The InnerCity Mission is bridging the gap for needy children through the ”Education In Emergency” initiative which is our approach to mentally engage children and provide continuous learning despite the COVID-19 crisis which has greatly disrupted learning around the world. This initiative will provide psycho-social services, health education, promote literacy skills through reading, and give children the opportunity to express themselves in art (recycling, drawing and painting), while getting them ready for school, once the lockdown is lifted. We believe that this critical response will protect needy children especially now, thereby preserving their right to an inclusive education!
