In a remarkable stride towards Child’s Development and Nation-Building, the Innercity Mission, in collaboration with the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International, has inaugurated a transformative dual-purpose initiative. Nestled within the heart of Ajegunle, Alakuko community in Lagos state, the newly commissioned project houses both a dynamic children’s learning center and an essential food bank. The inauguration ceremony witnessed an assembly of esteemed attendees including community leaders, benevolent sponsors, development partners, and grateful beneficiaries.

The event commenced on a compassionate note with the distribution of nourishing food parcels to 100 households, extending a helping hand to those in need. The focal point of this initiative, the children’s learning center, commenced its mission by enrolling 160 indigent children, each bestowed with essential school supplies. This combined endeavor beautifully encapsulates the steadfast commitment of our visionary founder to fostering child development and grassroots nation-building.
