Hunger continues to threaten the residents of Kensington refugee camp. Due to budget cuts, these vulnerable refugees now rely on well meaning organisations for their daily sustenance. Through our soup kitchen in Cape town, we are responding to the need by serving delicious hot meals to hundreds of children and families in the camp and other surrounding communities on a weekly basis.
Last week 268 needy children and families in Kensington refugee camp, Khayelitsha Township and Eesteriver received nutritious meals thanks to your partnership….
